I imported an animated alembic into houdini and created a FLIP simulation of a man made of water. I then lit the scene with the clean plate and rendered it in Mantra. I also created other renders such as a wet map and droplets to composite in nuke.

In nuke, I composited all elements together and used a depth pass along with the wet map to show a trail of water. I also comped reflections and rendered the shot.
